The 4th International Seminar on Non-Ideal Compressible Fluid Dynamics for Propulsion & Power (NICFD 2022) took place
between the 3rd and 4th November 2022 at City, University of London.

The seminar was supported by ERCOFTAC through the Special Interest Group on Non-Ideal Compressible Fluid Dynamics (SIG49) and was hosted by the Thermo-Fluid Research Centre at City, University of London.

The seminar brought together researchers and scientists from various application areas who are pioneering theoretical, numerical and experimental advancements in the fluid dynamics of compressible reactive and non-reactive flows of fluids for which the ideal gas law does not apply. The seminar saw over 50 attendees participate in 25 technical presentations, three keynote talks from leading academic and industrial experts, and two thematic workshops exploring aspects related to computational-fluid dynamics and experimental test facilities.
